FAQ

Yes. Listing, the creator dashboard and the SDK are free, and Alldle takes no commission on anything.

Daily games first: a new challenge every day, like Wordle or Connections. Good replayable web games are welcome too. See Before you submit.

Not yet. Your game runs on your own site, and Alldle sends players to it. Hosting on Alldle is on the way. See Where your game lives.

No, but it makes verification easier. On a shared address you need to be able to edit the page’s HTML, or else write to us and we will verify it by hand.

There is no guaranteed delay. The decision reaches you as a notification on Alldle, and by email when a moderator makes it.

The reason is on the game’s Edit page. See If your game is sent back.

Someone already listed my game. Can I take it over?

Section titled “Someone already listed my game. Can I take it over?”

Yes. Prove that you own the domain and the listing moves to your dashboard, with the plays and likes it already has. See Claim a listed game.

Yes. Anyone can suggest a game. If it is accepted, it is listed with no owner until you claim it.

Delete a draft or a game in review from My games. For a live game, write to us.

Your game gets its own page, found on Google and from the home page, categories, “games like” pages, search and the discovery queue. Players who add it to their daily ritual can opt in to a daily reminder. See How Alldle works.

Do I keep my traffic, my ads and my analytics?

Section titled “Do I keep my traffic, my ads and my analytics?”

Yes. When a player presses Play, it is your page that loads, inside Alldle’s frame when your site allows it or in a new tab otherwise, so your ads and your own analytics run as usual. Both kinds of play are counted in your dashboard.

If your game works well in a frame, it makes playing one click away, and players stay in their flow from game to game. If you would rather have every player land on your own site, leave it off. See Allow embedding.

Put the badge on your site to become a community partner, which makes your game eligible. Alldle also picks games for Featured and Trending, and emails you when it picks yours.

No. A link is enough to be listed, to get traffic and to see your audience. The SDK adds results for every player, and lets a finished round tick your game off in players’ daily ritual. See What the SDK gives you.

Do players need an account for me to see them?

Section titled “Do players need an account for me to see them?”

No. Each browser gets a random id, kept for at most 13 months, with no cookies and no personal data. Signed-in players are also linked to their account, so their ritual and streak follow them.

In dashboards and for assistants, only as totals: countries, devices, sources. The one exception is your own page inside Alldle’s frame, which is sent a signed-in player’s Alldle id, display name and avatar. See what the SDK sends.

Not while you are signed in. Testing your page signed out still counts as a visitor.

Yes. The tables on the audience dashboard export to CSV.

Yes, through a studio. Members manage every game of the studio, exactly as its owner does.

My studio is already on Alldle. How do I get access?

Section titled “My studio is already on Alldle. How do I get access?”

Write to us. Once we have checked it really is you, we add you as its first owner.

No. Everything it does for your games, you can do from the dashboard.

You choose what it can do, it reaches only your games, and changes to a live game still wait for review. See Permissions and safety.

Does Alldle use AI to make or host my game?

Section titled “Does Alldle use AI to make or host my game?”

No. “Creating” a game through an assistant means listing one that already runs on your own site.

It is coming. Creator remuneration is planned, and creators will be able to earn money through Alldle. It will be announced in the creator dashboard. See What is coming.
