The review

Every game is reviewed before it goes live, and so is every later change to its public details.

  1. Draft

Saved. Only you and your studio can see it. Verifying the domain moves it on.

  2. In review

In the queue. A reviewer checks the game and its listing.

  3. Live

Public, with its own page. Later edits are reviewed while it stays up.

Changes needed. From review, a game can be sent back with a note. Fix it and resubmit, up to twice.

A game goes from draft to in review to live. From in review it can be sent back as changes needed, then resubmitted.
  • It loads. The address responds and shows a game. A site that cannot be reached is sent back.
  • It plays. There is a real game to play, of the kind Alldle lists.
  • The listing is accurate. Name, description, category, universe and languages match the site.
  • The thumbnail is clean. It shows the game, with no cookie wall, dialog or broken page.

The reviewer can correct your listing directly when the site makes the right answer clear, including its name, description, address, category, languages and thumbnail. So your listing can go live slightly different from what you sent. A correction like that does not count as a rejection.

There is no guaranteed delay. The decision reaches you as a notification on Alldle, and by email when a moderator makes it. My games always shows the current status.

The game is live, with its own page at alldle.net/game/your-game. That address comes from its name and is set at this point, so a game has no public page before then.

Its status becomes Changes needed. The reviewer’s note is on the game’s Edit page and in your notification, and in rejectionReason for an assistant.

  1. Read the note. If there is none, check that the address loads, the description matches the game and the category is right. If it is still not clear, ask us.

  2. Fix it and save. Change the listing on the Edit page, or fix the site if that is the problem.

  3. Press Re-submit on the game in My games. A reviewer looks at it again, with the changes you made.

Changing a live game’s details queues them for a similar review while the game stays online. See Change a game.
